At The Candle House, our commitment is unwavering - we're dedicated to providing you with safe, eco-conscious, and environmentally friendly soy candle products. That's why every candle we hand-pour is crafted with 100% soy wax and cotton wicks, ensuring a clean and sustainable burn. Our Efforts
100% Soy Wax
Pure soy wax, a natural and renewable resource, burns cleanly and contains no paraffin or toxins, making it an eco-conscious choice that promotes healthier indoor air quality. Our wax is also made from soy beans grown in the USA; by selecting soy wax derived from domestic soybean crops, we support local farmers and reduce carbon emissions associated with long-distance transportation.
Cotton Wicks
Cotton wicks are biodegradable and ensure a clean and even burn, free from harmful emissions and soot. They not only promote a healthier indoor air quality but also enhance the overall safety of candle use because they do not produce dangerous fumes when burned.
Candles Hand-Made On Site
All of the wax products sold in-store or online are hand-poured by our Candle Team right here in our two Nebraska locations. We know exactly where our products are coming from because we made them by hand right here! When you buy from The Candle House, you're supporting a small, Nebraskan, family-owned and operated business.
Jar Reuse
We're proud of our selection of beautiful, high quality jars available for pouring, so we encourage customers to repurpose them after burning through their candle! You can clean your used jar and bring it back in to The Candle House to pour again for $5 off the original price. We will get it re-wicked and make sure it's ready to pour in again.
Re-purpose your candle jar!
Give your candle a second life by re-purposing the jar after you've finished burning through the wax! By repurposing, you can reduce waste and add a touch of creativity to your surroundings. Be sure to thoroughly clean the wax out of your jar first - from there, the possibilities are endless!
Re-Pour!
Bring your jar back in to The Candle House to re-pour for $5 off! We will make sure it's re-wicked and ready for wax.
Craft!
Get creative and use your old jar for your next DIY project! Make your own snow globe or tiny terrarium, or use paint, decoupage, or colorful paper to make it your own.
Plant!
Use your clean jar as a vessel to plant or propagate in! For our ceramic or concrete jars, try drilling a hole in the bottom for better drainage.
Decorate!
Our jars are pretty enough to keep around - try putting an LED light or small candle inside, and decorate with twine or ribbon!
Organize!
Our jars make great containers for all sorts of odds and ends - pens, paper clips, cotton swabs, jewelry, and more!
Recycle!
If you can't reuse your jar for absolutely anything else, glass and tin are recyclable in many areas! Check with your waste provider and recycle - only after cleaning thoroughly.
